Twenty years DJing in the Scottish techno circuit gave randomDisco (RD) a taste for underground electronic music. A previous release on Zuni’s UTI Records gained him respect and influence from the techno community. However, more recently RD put the one’s and two’s to one side to focus his own blend of techno. The New Game EP is actually RD’s album sampler which will be released shortly on Tribal Waves. There’s tones and flavours very similar to an early Juan Atkins - so much so that we are itching to release the album.

Ross Alexander (FORTE TECHNO) has been drafted in to supply a seriously no holds barred remix of ‘Pyramid Head’. They’ll be plenty of ’Oufts’ when this gets dropped, even on the darkest of floors.

The title track, ‘Pyramid Head’ is an upbeat percussive driven taste of tribal techno. It’s an infectious groove, with edgy synths and stroboscopic elements. Remixer, Ross Alexander takes the groove into his FORTE lock up and pimps it up into a Techno Road Warrior. Flipping over to the B-Side we have one track and two versions. ’Ilos’ is thinking mans techno, it’s a sci-fi infusion of spaced-out bubbling analogue sound - and plays out like a cinematic score. It’s hypnotic tech with a timeless vibe, which conjures up visions of off World exploration. Zuni’s Game On Remix takes RD’s synth-work and creates an eery launchpad. Swirling synths collide with an explosive, jacked up bass line. Zuni re-builds “Ilos” adding subtle loops which alters the structure with fired up, Nu-Detroit vibes.
